Building and Grounds Committee Report

St. Peter’s kitchen has been remodeled with new ceiling fans and lighting. New counter tops were installed and the walls and ceilings have been painted. A pre rinse kitchen faucet with pull-down spray was installed in one of the sinks.

The furnace and air conditioner have been repaired and are now on a 6 month maintenance schedule. Smoke alarms have all been repaired or replaced and are up to code. Thermostats have been repaired or replaced. All fire extinguishers have been checked and are up to code. An inspection was done by our insurance company and we’ve passed with no problems. An inspection was also done by the village of Westfield in early spring 2007 and all suggestions have been completed. Stabilization work was done on the Bell Tower by Barber Construction.
