Treasurers Report

When former Treasurer Linda Thomas had to resign due to her relocation out of state, I was given the opportunity to fill her position. I happily accepted.

St. Peter’s had a positive end to 2007. In addition to meeting our obligations, we were able to send the Diocese an additional $4,500 above what was pledged for our Fair Share. We were also able to put away approximately $23,000 towards the bell tower restoration as well as pay for interim repairs to the tower until the rest of the necessary funds are realized. We were able to take these financial actions, thanks to additional Wightman Fund Interest that was received. As always, your vestry and I will continue to look at ways to enhance St. Peter’s worship and programs while maintaining a balanced budget.
