About St. Peter's

St. Peter's is a Parish Church of the Diocese of Western New York of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America We are proud of our Anglican and Episcopal Heritage. Our beautiful brick church is located on the Eastern edge of Moore Park in the center of the Village of Westfield. St. Peter’s Parish has served Westfield, and the surrounding community since 1830.

Our worship is from the Book of Common Prayer (1979), and is true to Episcopal and Anglican tradition dating back to the first Original 1549 Book of Common Prayer. The Traditional Language Rite I and the Contemporary language Rite II are used on alternating Sundays. We welcome all Christians, baptized with water and in the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, to share the Sacrament of Holy Communion with us. Worship centers around the celebration of the Holy Eucharist; "Eucharist" means "Thanksgiving" and is a service of scripture readings, psalms, hymns, sermon, and Holy Communion.
