The Season of Pentecost Continues
Fall arrived this week and with it warm weather. The weather this summer was crazy, even for Western New York. July and most of August were cold and rainy, then 20+ days of NO rain, both record-breaking extremes.
But Fall is now here and with it comes a new Sunday School year and a new Clergy team. Fr. Chuck and Deacon Christine and I will be planning the up-coming liturgies. We will be providing Pastoral Care, and leading Adult Education. Fr. Chuck’s Bible Study is already underway, and Mother Sandra is leading Morning Prayer on Wednesdays at 9 a.m.
The Wardens are working together on the administrative duties along with Lisa Best’s capable help. And the Bell Tower is looking better and better. Only good things are ahead!
My Thanks to all of you for your welcome on my first Sunday back. You were instrumental 8 years ago in my being accepted into Seminary. I’m grateful that this interim time here will give me a chance to repay your kindness and support.
With God, and a wonderful parish like this, all things are possible!
